Three weeks from today, (Saturday February 25th) RETRO-Lan will be held at 4222 Quadra St.
Buckle up boys and girls because this is going to be a good one. Remember that good ol' Lans in the bunker back in the day??
It's time to bring back the good times of Starcraft, Quake 2, and Descent 3 Co-op!!
Make sure to free up that Saturday for some good gaming action. There surely will be some great fast and furious gaming action, along with some surprises thrown in for good measure!
Post below if you are coming, and if you have any good retro game ideas to throw in the mix!

| i could come and do a video documentary of it. heh. ill be in town that weekend.. but i cant carry my computer with me from north van on the ferry :/ plus i havnt played half of the games you guys listed unfortunately (yes, i never played decent 3.. i know. the shame). but yea i have a canon zr90 vid camera and access to cheap tapes.. 36 hours of footage? 1 hour a tape. hmm. |

I think a LANage video would be fricken sweet...
Just think if we had, had one back in the day...ipx vs battlenet...don't pull a Hotovy, vipers virus infectin the network...and anyone remember that original Geoff guy with the foulest mouth in the planet? You know in Unreal Tournament "Faces" or whatever it was called...he was like F*this you F*in mother F*er...I will kill your f*kin *ss you loser....blah blah blah...oh the videos that could have been!

I am ready, other than the fact that I need a soundcard or a gameport of some sort...
I think Chris has a 3dpro for me to use. Really looking forward to seeing all of you and getting some nostalgic gaming in! |

Just got a new mouse, so hopefully it'll be much better than my last (was acting up recently).
Thanks Chris for recommending the mouse (Logitech MX510) good mouse, and at $25 right now!!
Can't wait for the LAN! |
