Just a quick note on how we rate games. We, being the hardcore LAN gamers that we are,
tend to take a different tact when reviewing games. We rate things based
on immersive LAN gameplay, soundtrack and the ever elusive, but most important
ability for co-op multiplay through campaigns...just like a single-player
game, yet with multiplayer capability.
The Games in the LANage Game Hall of Fame, have been played for countless hours in LANs over the years. They are the tried and true...and while they may not be your first pick for single-person play (read console) or internet play (read Counter Strike), they are the best of the best when it comes to LAN play.
